All four of us went with an estate agent to look for a suitable house. We looked at seven houses of which we agreed on one. We tried to get it, but it was not possible, so we asked for another one. We managed to debate the price and rent the house.
A couple of days later, we went to the house to look around and try out the swimming pool. We were all happy with our choice. Even though we were staying in an apartment still, we went to visit the house a few times before we moved in.
In the morning that we were scheduled to move house, we got up before six and packed everything into suitcases and left for the house. We had to make two trips to the house as we didn’t have space in our suitcases for food.
When we were eventually in the house and unpacked (except for Imogen) we all went into the pool and adventured around the house.
Imogen and I looked around the house for the best hiding places whilst Mum and Dad began to unpack the boring things.
Over the next few days, we went to the mall to buy some essentials and some entertainment. We also bought some nice outside furniture from a local stall.
We are still sleeping on air beds and have no furniture inside because we sent our goods in a ship halfway through February and it is not even due to arrive at the border for another two weeks.

A short quote from Imogen about her experiences of moving “Our new house is really cool and has a really nice pool; although I am sad that there is no cupboard under the stairs.”
A short quote from Sam about moving house “It’s nice to be in our own house.”
A short quote from Zoe about moving house “There is a nice pool for the children.”
