School has been very different and a little strange since we arrived in Mozambique. We moved here four days before our school in England closed due to lockdown so we were never sent any online work from them before we joined our new school, so we were home-schooled.
For about three weeks, my sister and I were home-schooled by our parents. It worked quite well and there was still time to go in the pool and have some free time. We learned quite a lot throughout a range of subjects.

We did this while we were in quarantine for two weeks in a hotel when we were arrived and then for about another week once we had moved to our new house.
After that, the new school that my sister and I now attend contacted us about their online learning because all school are shut here, even though there is no lockdown.
We joined soon after and attend Zoom calls, complete online work that is set and communicate with the other students via Watsaap. It is going very well and we have learned many new things, as we have different subjects to what we have in England. We also learn a lot more about Africa and Mozambique in particular, which I knew very little about before I arrived here.

We have both settled in well. We have not met anyone from school in person exept for the students that we met briefly when we went for our trial day last October. We have met quite a few of our neighbours though and have been horse riding.
